Did contact the seller and the lighter Victor is definitely a repaint. However the yellow one does have black wheels, so what do I do now?
Rod
ok Rod, not so local then. It's nice to have a black wheeled example but it's quite playworn and of course wheels can be painted too.

I think the price is fairly steep for a black wheeled example in that condition.

Try and ask questions just on the Black wheeled Victor, if they are genuine and not just painted over, I would still go for that 'Lot'.

The Victors that I have are yellowish with no plastic windows. Early models?

Thank's Rod, so far then that's a 50% success rate on the Victors, nice Black wheel example, but what of the pale Yellow example, do we have a verdict yet, is it genuine or repaint?

100% repaint, base-off and mangled rivet but the quality of the repaint is good

Thank's Rod for the clarification on the pale Yellow Victor. I still think you did well on that little lot because of the Black wheeled version and the other models look OK for resales (I think I would keep the 'Hot Wheels' Cadillac and the Blue MG 1100, they are great models), and we all had some fun commenting on your posting and questions about it.
