Yes and it's referred to as 'dull turquoise'
Maybe that's just oxidisation/environmental/sun fade too!!

i still feel in my bones that it's a factory plastic colour variation but still remain very open to other opinions.

I was told or read these variations are due to the plastic being mixed, the first ones have pure beads then when the supply is low its mixed with beads and off cuts, which came out the same but has the offcuts had impurities in them the mix was slightly different and overtime a reaction takes place, this seemed to me to explain the shades in white etc, I think this still happens, my kids had two white robots, both were in the same place and left for several months, one it's legs and arms changed to off white but its body stayed white as did the other robot, it was definitely something in the the plastic.
