the color ofthe body if a rivet is part of it would be the same color of the body...if the black base was the the same color as the rivet it wouldnt be factory...but the rivet is grey and the base black is correct...the rivet on the grey base should be grey too
Please use a web hosting site (like photobucket) to store pictures so you can post them here, using attachments makes it hard to view the pictures when you have to scroll to see them. Seeing comparisons of models is hard to see with attachments too.

Hi Ghosty,
The early version with the grey base had been assembled before painting, thats why its all one colour.
The black base version was painted seperately then assembled.

Ghosty, glad that u now fully understand the procedure with the assembly & painting and know that this Grey base Bedford tipper is one of the rarest variants in the 1:75 range of Mb models. They have never been seen before until Antonin showed us his lucky find.

Thanks Mr Jones.I hope your familys newest arrival has brought u all much joy...congrats :D

I couldnt believe my eyes when i first spotted this Grey base Bedford and dare not let it pass. The truth of the matter is that this truck was advertised in the wrong category and it could have easily slipped me by as well if i hadnt searched for Bedford Tippers that night as i usually do cos they are my favs.
I seem to be a very lucky gal :D

Just catching up on some of these posts after a rather busy stretch of days. Numi, you little rascal, you have to be thrilled with this find. Congratulations to you. So, are you displaying this one laying on its side to help ensure that it brings a new smile each time you walk into the room? :D
