I dont think mine are.
I just like to get that general warning out there from time to time. Of course, like paint, plastics do vary sometimes. Back when we were on Lefora, an entire thread sprung up about the three colors of luggage on a Landy or the Fiat (can't remember which). No one had realized the "third" color was not Lesney luggage but that of reproduction replacement luggage.

As more an more plastic acessories and parts are reproduced, it's important to know what is available and exactly what it looks like. When the TVs, ladder and antenna were first reproduced for the TV Van, a seller grouped some mint and nearly mint models with reproduction replacement parts still on the sprue. The listings did not mention that the parts were reproduction but simply "parts still on the sprue." That seller duped many people into thinking they were buying a van with "original" parts still on the sprue.

Hi slicc64, on my laptop screen the Two lighter Yellow scaffold components do show up as being the Two separate models on the right of the bunch and I must just say what a fantastic collection you have secured, don't care if most are the same, this is great and by having so many and really studying each model closely, you can find you might have several variations among them, well done for getting all these.

Thanks Ghosthunter.
I dont have that many now as i've sold a few off since 2010.
Kept the 2 light yellow scaff and from memory 4 of the other scaffs.
I did do a lot of comparing when I had them but didn't notice anything other than the scaff and the axle covers.

Actually I do remember reading a post on VBDF re a scaffold truck [promotional] with white or cream colored scaff and one of the members who replied mentioned that if the scaff was repro it would be unlikely that it would be of the exact dimensions of factory originals so maybe that's the acid test !!

had a quick search to try and find that post so i could add the link here but couldn't find it. Just cant remember weather it was SF or REG

The reproduction stuff is made the same size and often used the actual parts as a patern for the reproductions. The Alvis covers even have mold numbers on the underside.
