Hey Brother How are you. I got very, very sick. I believe it was from all the chemicals I was using when restoring cars. (stripping, grinding, cutting, painting, etc) I had to walk away from it all, at least for awhile. The last few years I was wearing a mask and painting outside and I even installed an exhaust fan in my shop, but it still wasn't enough. It got to where I was doing about 200 cars a month. I was hoping to quit my civilian job and just do it full time.
I miss it everyday, and I miss all the friends I made over the years. I shouldn't even be on here as I may end up pulling me back into the shop again, especially after seeing the custom restorations here.
I don't even go out into my workshop anymore as it makes me very sad, Everything is exactly how I left it nearly 2 years ago (about 100 restorations in various stages of completion).
Anyway, I am feeling better now. My color has come back to my skin, I can smell better, food taste better, my mind is clear, etc. I currently work for the Corps of Engineers, but am enjoying the time off on Furlough thanks to the government shutdown.
I miss everyone, hope all is well. BTW, what the heck happened to the MCCH? Seems I have missed a lot. Someone please fill me in.

So glad to hear you are doing better! I miss seeing your work.

Oh man, sorry to hear you got sick from this. I am taking a short break from it at the moment. I too worry about exposure to fumes and chemicals.
I paint out in the open but breath lots of fumes while stripping. Will have to re-evaluate the whole thing. I like making money, but don't need it that bad.
