Thanks for the info Johnny and hope uve been keeping well.

I was unaware of this auction taking place. This was certainly an exciting auction to have participaed in.
The Emerald Green Group5 was a blind leap-frog at approx 3250gbp ($5000) incl comms. I would certainly not have paid that price not even if it was the rarer Mint condition narrow solid wheel specimen. Brennan sold 2x identical specimens at $1100 & $950 respectively about 3yrs ago. These are not rare but htf & desirable so a lot may still be hidden in collections. Some buyers/collectors have more bulges that patience!

The Namc tankers have long had its best runs. They do not command much interest these days unless they sell below $700 for a minter. Brennan seems to have hoarded quite a good few variants all these years creating a shortage, high demand & high prices.

These are some that he hoarded, Canadian #67 Crossover Purple Vw, #53 Crossover Met-Blue Zodiacs, The Namc tankers, #30 Red Crossover Faun Trucks with Orange Booms, #8 Red RW Crossover Mustangs, Purple & Silver Namc Tankers, #8 Sf Red Mustangs, #11a Green Tankers, #45 base Mini Ha-ha among others. Prices on these have since fallen as they satisfy collections, hence the shrinkage of speculators and price commands.

I just came across this Field Car with White Interior that sold for 520gbp+comms. Could some members tell me why this particular variant commands such a price.
Thanks in advance.

It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to inform members that my dear and very long time friend has passed away.

Ron battled lung cancer bravely since the end of last year and finally succumbed in late July, his funeral was last week.

His illness was the deciding factor in selling his collection and he would be pleased to see the models going to collectors who will treasure them as he did.

Those of you who go to Sandown will have seen Ron with me there and no doubt spoken with him.

I intend to be at Sandown next month but it will not feel quite the same any more.
