Congratulations and welcome to the wonderful world of Matchbox and diecast toys!! I'm sure that your collecting over the past several years has been great fun for you.
To answer your question, it probably will never end. There is always another model to seek or another "treasure" to be found.................
Enjoy the ride.........!!

Yes Birdy, it does seem as if addicted could be an appropriate diagnosis! And you've come to the wrong place because we're ALL ADDICTED! We won't help you find a cure. We'll encourage and enable you! Welcome to the party!

I convinced my partner that it's my retirement hobby to fill in those long days when she's off on the golf course.
Selling the collection off in weekly lots will keep me in luxury
and provide my wine & ciggy money.
Secretly I think she's just happy to know where I am most evenings though does get annoyed when I tell her friends that I spend most
nights on the computer looking at models.

I can certainly confirm this, The 'carpark outside' is the carpark outside the toyfair, And a two hour wait is not uncommon, Tell me, does she have an unmarried sister Reg?.
