Corgi Toys Jaguar Mark X
Re: Corgi Toys Jaguar Mark X
I will soon make a picture showing the two "fisherking" blue (one with red, one with yellow interior) if that can help.

Re: Corgi Toys Jaguar Mark X
Bad picture (sorry).
But we see that there isn't a color variation or just what I call a "wake-up" shade. It depends on the way the man who melted the paint woke-up or on how many beers he had drunk the day before... And sometimes what we want to collect as so called distinct shade are just a paint approximation.

Re: Corgi Toys Jaguar Mark X
Thanks for showing the comparison between these two. I only have this colour with yellow seats. This is one of my favourite colours on this model, together with the metallic green. Actually all the colours used are attractive, although my least favourite is the most common pale blue, which I haven't got around to getting yet!
Re: Corgi Toys Jaguar Mark X
Thanks for the comparison image, from the photos i think this is kingfisher blue (?) with both interiors.
Missing at present is rich met.blue, same colour as on the Husky Jag.MarkX model, also with both interiors.
From the rarity grades i think the following list work, but its only from my view.
Listing the most common first.
1. pale blue
2. met.red
3. lt.met.blue
4. dk.met.blue
5. silver
6. king fisher blue
7. met.green
8. turqouise
9. rich met.blue (dont know a better name!)
Perhaps king fisher blue is rarer than the green shades?
Any thoughts? And what colour missings, but well known?
Wolfgang

Re: Corgi Toys Jaguar Mark X
I think met. green could be rated as #4 in rarity. I had many copies in my hand and in mint condition and can see often some to buy on ebay.

Met.green as #4 in rarity?? Hmmm, then i think its your local luck and perhaps more available in your area!
I have done a quick research at the bay but met.green is there as rare as i thought before.
Pale blue could be find every week in all conditions, nearly same as met.red, then a few lt.met.blue pops up
and then dk.met.blue. After that came silver and sea green i can find more often than met.green!
Crazy, but i think its also depends on time. Next week perhaps a few met.green will go their way.....
We will see.
I have also studied the Chrysler Ghia colours and there are also many met.blue variations like the Jag colours.
Also some wheels variations. Think copper must be the rarest here? Any thoughts?
Have fun
