I look forward to those numbers, many thanks.

Ghosty.
Got those numbers for you: -

Rolls no 1 - Hollow with tread F39, F45, F48 and hollow smooth M7;
Rolls no 2 - Solid with tread 23, 32, E7, F39;
Rolls no 3 - Solid without tread 10G, 13G, 37G, 42G

Certainly a fair old mix and hopefully of use to you.

F39 appears on both 1st + 2nd but with solid and hollow on same mould number - never seen this before which if you can confirm would prove 2 different moulds or more using the same wheel numbers. Or are E7 + F39 both hollow on 2nd car???

They're definitely solid and hollow wheels with F39.

The hollow with tread are a bit oddball and I'm trying to remember which other model I've seen them on before.

Mathias, love your collection, especially the Mercury Commuter with the cat's head label.

Does it have a silver-grey painted base? If so, it's very high on my wants list.

Thank you Johnny for those wheel mould numbers, sorry I did not thank you earlier after your posting, but have been to a Funeral today (Friday 23rd), but now back home and 'On-Line'.

They will be of great help.

No need to apologise. If they gave prizes out for delayed posts, I'd be on the top podium everytime!

Is it possible the solid F39 actually reads 139? If this is the 1st documented case of hollow and solid wheels with the same mould number further research is required as many previously thought each mould number was unique to measure mould wear

"SMS88" has a good point regards 'F39' might be '139' and while this is a high number, the first 'Solid' narrow 'Superfast' wheels do exist with just 'Numbers', to be replaced by numbers with a letter in Alphabetical order, placed before and after the number...

For example...One of my 'Breaker' #69c 'Drop-Top' Rolls-Royce models has these wheel numbers,
A21,
42A,
11,
82A,

...and as can be seen, it has all Three permutations.

Without wanting to be a pain, can we ask Johnny to check that wheel again and confirm the number as 'F39' or '139', Sorry Johnny... :|
