Collecting SF's is a wonderful hobby and dont let anyone tell you otherwise!!
Bob Whats the story with the Mustang, how did you come by it?
By the way here is my own red Mustang with red Interior. It takes pride of place in my collection.

Thanks Reg, it is beautiful mate, but it was not cheap!!!!
I think the one Bob has is the orange/red body with red interior. You will note my red variant has the early small slot 5 spoke wheels whilst Bobs version has the later wide slot 5 spoke wheels.

Motorman,
The Mustang is the Orange/red interior variant. I went to an indoor flea market 2/3 years ago, and found a guy selling some of his childhood car collection. I saw the Mustang and didn't ever remember seeing an orange one before, so I bought it, never thinking they were worth as much as they are. I was quite shocked when I looked it up later.

People who really enjoy their collections try to focus on only collecting things that they really like and want so rather than collect more of the same regular wheels variations that dont really float your boat why not buy any Superfast or any other thing that grabs you? The completist mentality is frustrating & gets boring for many so why not keep it simple by focusing only on what you really really want?? I am always ready to sell any toy I own if I decide I wont miss it if it were gone and a good home turns up for it!

Anything but insignificant!!!!
Matthias is showing some rare variations Bob.
The silver painted base on the #18 Field car is a rare variation as is the unpainted base of the #32 Mazerati.
The unpainted base on the #50 Kennel truck is very rare.
