thnks for your kind replies.
Nick the idea with making a taxi out of it is exactly what I want to do with a second Fiat.
The Taxi sign is already ordered as a 3D-part.
The Fiat Taxi will be a Christmas present for my elder brother - he is collecting models of Taxis.

Nicely done! Looks great in that color and would make a fine Taxi.
Makes me want to get out some beaters and try something...What kind of paint did you paint it with?

the Color is made by Genius pro.
It is a aresol can (hope the word is right).
The color is terracotta.
Art.Nr. T 320479M*N
Not sure if this is avaiable in England.

could be the same, but I´m not sure.
I didn´t knew that Matchbox also sold color-cans.

The Fiat-taxi is already painted but i´m not happy with the surface - will paint it again.

This time I removed the tow-bar and again made a left hand drive out of it.

The model was more more beautiful in orange.
Try perhaps with white color.

But, all forum members know
I am against
painting over the old and rare Matchbox models.

the taxi is a second model.
The orange one still exists.

For repainting and modifying I only use playworn models.
Nobody wants them on Ebay you get them for one Euro.

I would not use good models therefor.
