I am sure that the camera is tricking my mind some how, but the red box version certainly looks shorter in height and length or is this a characteristic of the different variation codes?
Alex, maybe you're right.

Or maybe I'm wrong :?:

Mike the dimensions of the all red version seem smaller in every way. The latest image you posted looks very convincing looks very much like 2 very different casts. The roof of the box on the all red version appears to be less curved, flatter than the green box version.

The photos do give the impression that the models are different lengths and heights.

Rather embarrassingly, at the moment, I can't lay my hands on anything other than RW code 5 and SF. However, all those refrigerator boxes are identical (i.e. low roof). Furthermore, certainty the F box and possibly also the E box show this same "low roof" casting.
Is anyone in a position to compare other RW variation codes' refrigerator boxes with either RW code 5 or any SF model? IS it that the addition of the rear bumper is indicative of a complete retooling of the box, or has Mike done it again and the "high roof" model in his photographs represents yet another rarity?

Mike, which code is the standard colour 44c in the photographs?

I think this discussion should now be moved from the lounge to the "Lesney Matchbox regular wheels 1-75" or the "Missing & unlisted 1-75 RW Variations" section of the forum as this could be of interest to a lot of RW collectors out there.

I am hooked seeing as i noticed the apparent different castings.

Come on, you lot!
Someone must have a code 1, 2 or 3 to hand which they can compare with a code 5 or an SF example!
