I am back from my Son's soccer (Football) game now, so I can comment on your base picture Mike. The base of the dark green model does not look dark green, but a lighter shade that may be my 3rd middle green color. It was very common (and still is!) to find mixed color greens on the body and on the separate base casting riveted to it. It is not fade or exposure, the models came mixed this way in some of our factory shipments to the U.S. I just read Nick's listing on this Bus, and I see why Idris has noted the off-white interior on his Code one early cream models. I have never seen anything but white interiors in these buses, so I know they were not very common. Because the cream Bus production ran for at least 2 years before the green ones were seen, Mike's interior is very special in his green example. Just like the #5 buses, these off white interiors may have just been a limited small run mixed in with the normal white ones, but in much smaller numbers.

Or it's just dirty or stained (just saying).

That question could be resolved by attempting to clean a small area using e.g. a Q-tip/cotton bud dipped in water.
