Hi Mick.
Yes I frequently visited the Van shop in Roman rd. Bethnal Green, I rarely bought anything because his prices were so high and my wages were so low. He did have some nice stuff though. I remember his Econoline "The London Scene". Did you ever go to the Truck in or any van or custom car runs?.

"MOKOSEX" must be something to do with 'MOKO IS EXCELLENT' meaning this person has a liking for the early toys marketed by 'MOKO'.
Ghosty.

"GHOSTHUNTER". I would imagine this person likes chasing Ghosts and has a liking for Spirits, Phantoms and Spectres...oh! hang on a minute, that's me, and I collect Rolls-Royce models and the most modelled car made by Rolls-Royce was the Silver Ghost and I am always looking for Silver Ghost toys and models, hence I am Ghosthunter.
Ghosty.

Good evening,
here is my explanation:
Let's start at the back of my username. It reads here "96" and that's because of I was born in 1996.
And because of I'am collecting Matchbox toys it's "_matchbox_96".
When I created my username in april, I figured that there should be something british sounding in my username, too. (We remember: this is a BRITISH forum!)
So I added "Sir" what leads to "Sir_matchbox_96".
Intersting thread, thanks "tractorboy"!
Greetings,
Linus

Hi tactorboy
I have always thought that Tractorboy was a strait forward username. I guess I always pictured a middle aged guy who has a large tractor collection, big ones and small ones, models and real ones
My username Dr Jazz has nothing to do with music
I have a friend circle of 20-30 friend from when I was around 12. We all have nick names due to that they all are called Jacob, Thomas,Peter and etc etc. so we made nicknames. But my name (Jascha) is very rare in this part of the world so no need for at nick name. I could not exept that so I came up with Jazz (short of Jascha would be Jas and I had a Utah Jazz cap)
So since 89 I have been called Jazz. I am no doctor like Greg
but I love Hip hop and here it is normal to call your self the doctor. So since 1999 I have used that name in matchbox collecting terms. I also have other names that I use and some people call me
Sir Jazz, Happy Jazz, Jazzmatazz, jiickyjiicky Jaaaazz.....
Good thread
Jazz

My user name is zBret,
Someone gave me the name Bret when I was trying to come up with a username. It was ok, but I thought it needed a little something, so.. as I live in France I added the "z" - pronounced "zee" for flair and finesse, (as the French pronounce "the", as "zee" )

My name is Nicholas but my nick name is Nick, I used to date a girl with the surname Knox, I told her it would be funny if we married and I took her name, Fortunately I moved away from the area and no longer get called Nick Knox lol.
