I have a 'Special' shelf full of some repaints, fakes, and customs. (And Mistakes!) All your pictures of your base are taken at about the same angle, Please see whether you can get a shot that shows us the left hand gap on the rivet better. Is that shadow really the enlarged base hole we are looking at, or is it a gap between the spun rivet and the base from the force of being stepped on? I am pretty well convinced it is a made up model, but I like to display these too. Some of mine are so well done they could be mistaken as original Lesney factory models. If the look of this model excites you, keep it as I would and enjoy it for what Lesney could have done instead of that stock British Leyland green.......kwakers

If this is a 100% made up model, I still would not destroy it as it is handy to keep such models as reference models, to show and then learn from them as examples of what is out in the collecting World. They are also handy to show to and educate other collectors, so certainly keep it.
