I have these 7.1 mm wheels in black plastic and also at least one version in gray plastic on the 35A Marshall Horse Box. Mike Stannard seems to have called these 7.5 (possibly) in his 1985 Guide, which has also been carried over into Nick's updated listings of the 35A currently on the Diecast Website. The 35A listing was updated just last year with Antonin's help, so were these tiny 7.1 mm wheels missed completely, or are they still generally included under the 7.5 diameter in the variation codes? When I Stannard coded our collection 6 years ago I used a ruler, not the cheap but accurate digital readout calipers we now have at hand (that I also carry to Toy Shows now). These 7.1 mm wheels would have measured near enough with a ruler to 7.5 mm to have been included there, but I can more accurately determine their diameter now with this $15 tool......
It's probable that more of these 7.1 mm BPW Buses are out there, we may have just never noted them with eyes as sharp as Tim and Nick's. I have to admit that after wheel color, I have always just been looking under the roofs and axles of these 5C Buses for the well known casting variations noted on them 43 years ago. kwakers
