Hi all,
after I saw your impressive pictures of showcases, displays and so on, I decided to rename my thread into "Show us your toy room!".
Maybe some more members want to show their collection or just some of their favorite showcases.
I'am friendly asking the admins: Do you support this idea? Or is there a better place for this thread?

Greetings,
Linus

Hi Mick,
I don't know where to start but what a wonderful collection.
Unfortunately you seemed to have collected a number of models that are the wrong colour!! I think you should just pack them up and send them across the ditch to ME.
I've got some here that are right colour I can give you in exchange.

Cheers Steve

Must get across the Pond one day to catch up with you Steve. The wife can admire the scenery and leave me alone then. I only collect wrong colours now :D - if I'm lucky and can beat Bob, Ricardo and Brett and all the others.

A great idea Linus !
After seeing Mick's great collection I thought I would post photos of my room here too.
I don't collect preproduction models. I like special packaging like blisterpacks and my collection is somewhat famous for the old original store displays.
Aprox 90% of my collection is on display in old glasscabinets, some of these glasscabinets being prewar.
It is mainly Models of Yesteryear but as one of the 30 quest of the German Collectors Club said to me last june (they visited my collection in smaller groups) it is also of interest to other collectors as well.
In the 2013 summer I took photos here in my room.
I have added some more items to my collection since then.
Please take a look here and visit my collection……

These are just my "A" - "B" - "C" - "D"-"E" 1-75 models and these are old photos, I have added quite a lot of variations since I took these photos.

i dont have a toy room...just boxes filled with stuff and a cabinet...i think this is the most updated pic i have of it and this kinda old

Please use a web hosting site (like photobucket) to store pictures so you can post them here, using attachments makes it hard to view the pictures when you have to scroll to see them. Seeing comparisons of models is hard to see with attachments too.
