I also only have a singe Mint one matching your brighter yellow one Antonin. The other 'dull' one you show seems more of a butterscotch than a yellow color, the first and only one I have ever seen like it.I have seen some very impressive and original looking orange re-paints on this one, so check that odd one very carefully Antonin........kwakers

I have checked it several times and I would say, it is on 99,99% genuine model. 11a and 15a were produced in the same time period, so I think it is very probable that 15a could be in both colour variations also. I think there is a butterscotch variation.

The colour looks genuine Antonin, but will now be a very rare model for us to find another like it. If the brighter yellow is a 'Holy Grail' to most collectors, I think you have now shown us your style of 'Holy Grail', almost unique as an early paint trial, or part of an earliest run possibly using that rare 'Butterscotch' paint from the very limited production 11A as you suspect. kwakers

I have the idea that "prime mover" is the American name, and that we Brits should properly be calling them ballast tractors.

We Yanks didn't ever use Prime Movers or Ballast Tractors when moving our heavy Iron around the U.S. Idris. We have always just used the very largest '5th Wheel Tractor Trucks' built at any given time with Heavy 'Lowboy' or 'Beam' Trailers' attached by way of an oversize rotating 5th wheel device on the frame rails just like smaller ones used on the modern rigs on the road today. The term 'Prime Mover' may have originated as a military term for the largest motorized trucks or units used to tow oversize cannons during World War I in Europe.
Your 'Prime Movers' like the early 15A may have had an American chassis, but I am sure the ballast boxes were added after they were shipped over to you as just a cab and chassis. Our largest Cannon Barrels for coastal defense and our largest Tanks of World War II were secretively Hauled using Chain driven Mack and Sterling Trucks over any roads they chose, with no weight restrictions at all. The Sterlings of Roger Sherman and the Macks of Hall out of Boston Mass. were seen up and down our Eastern Seaboard doing secret military moves during WW2. kwakers

This seller lists many good fakes of rare matchbox items, but he is honest and declares his models as "code 3".

No new hint, sorry for that.
