The model featured in the first three 'screen grabs' are of the #24c Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow, so the two showing it during production tie-in with other known Black & White pictures, taken inside Lesney during 1967-69.
Ken Wetton was the chief model maker responsible for 'mock-up' and 'prototype' models, working closely with Fred Rix, chief designer and John Simmonds, R & D Leader, they created many unique models between them, many coming onto the collectors markets when these gentlemen left Lesney, especially Mr Wetton who kept many of his original 'Prototypes'.
I have enclosed a picture of one of the 'Mock-Up' models by Ken Wetton or John Simmonds, not entirely sure, as they both made this type of model and these photos (often presented to the board members at the monthly new products meeting), were not credited, and you can see the amount of hand crafting done to create it, I wonder where it is now...anyone on this forum got it?
