Sad news indeed,I wish Wolfie all the best this year. I hope Wolfie has tried every clean eating option & removed all chemicals from his skincare regime and diet before resorting to such radical surgery

Thanks everyone!

I'm touched by your words of support..

I just returned from the surgeon. There is no alternative - I have to have the operation followed by six weeks if daily radiotherapy.

The operation to remove my eye is most likely to happen on the 25th April or thereabouts.

I'm okay with it. I've been preparing myself for this news for a week or two. I'll still have one eye!!!

Those of you have known me for years will know I've had a charmed life., I've been saved by medical science over and over.

I'm positive - there are still a few Matchbox variations I'm trying to find. Sorry, my set of toys isn't due for the market yet!

Wolfie, I will share something with you that few people know. Forty two years ago, I lost the sight in my left eye (and most of the hearing in my left ear) in an explosion. I never let it slow me down. That positive attitude you possess will speed your adjustment in recovering. My thoughts are with you and never give in!
It might be time to start my "Bucket List."
