I will have to post photos of them together later on. There is definitely quite a shade difference, but it doesn't seem to match the one in the picture on your site 100% either. The lighting in my house is appalling and the cloud is so low this morning I can barely see across the road, but I think it is supposed to clear up later.

Ok, weather has improved a bit so I took these outside, please tell me what you think. The one which may be brown appears to have quite a lot of roof coloured splashes/scratches on the rest of the body????
In some lights it does appear to have a 'pinkness' about it, but nothing like as much as the other one. The colour is exactly the same underneath the wheelarches etc.

This lot just gets more and more interesting. I've started going through it (slowly) today and it would appear the Bedford tipper has grey wheels

It looks like your mum brought you a great package from the mainland.
We have similar challenges here in North America where some variations which are common in England are hard to find here even in playworn condition.
It sounded as if you are considering selling the models that are not of interest to you. If they are still available, I am interested in the purple 39b Pontiac, the blue 65a Jag sedan, the red 65b Jag sedan, the Vauxhall Victor Estate car and the yellow Mercer Runabout.
Please PM me if any of these are still available.
