Considering I am a bit of a Bus enthusiast, I don't have a single example of this model, must do something about that...

thanks Ritchie for that photo !
As you can see in the 1st column of my list I don't have that model !
Very rare indeed.
Do you have K15 busses not listed by me and can show them ?

I don't have this bus either, nor other K15 buses unfortunately. This bus I only seen once it's indeed rare. It was made in 1990 to commemorate the 5th anniversary of SUTC, the Matchbox factory in China.

Hi Marcel,

I can add some more to your list, sorry no pictures. I am not sure which ones you have hence the multiple listings:
Also I like to mention that some buses have either silver or gold side doors. I did not find all the buses in my collection
especially the code 3s as some of them are still packed away in storage although my plan is to eventually display them all.

"London Dungeon" red body/London Bridge 48 blk/yel front label/ silver doors

"Silver Jubilee" red body/yellow seats white red side label/Hackney 30 front label

"Hamley's red body no side label
"Hamley's red body red/white "London Transport" side label

"The Fantasy of Disneyland Alton Towers The Heritage of England" blue body/cast doors/grey seats

"Enter a different world - Harrods" red body/London Bridge 48" front label/red & white side label
"Enter a different world - Harrods" red body/ Hackney 30" front label/red & white side label

Code 3

Thanks Richie for extra info on the Sutc model.

Very quick overview for most of the main singles to find of which some are more easier then others. (the last model on last row is a code-3 and I forgot to exclude that from this picture)

and an auction photo showing a red and yellow bus (4rd row from above, 2nd model from the right) I wasn't awear about. Any more info on that one ?

Thanks Charlie, will update my listing and check my models.

Hi Marcel,

Yes, I have that one.
Midland Fox K15.jpg
Midland Fox K15.jpg (32.75 KiB) Viewed 7461 times
Midland Fox was formed in January 1984 and as all examples of this bus I've seen are in 1984 boxes, I can only presume that they were a short run of code 2 or 3 models made to commemorate it. The logo of Midland Fox is incorrect, however, and both Corgi and EFE produced more accurate models.

The paint job looks to be factory done as it doesn't show any evidence of having been hand painted.

I don't know any more about it, but would welcome any information that anyone may know.

Cheers,

Martin

I recently inherited a model bus collection from a relative who passed away, mostly modern EFE, Corgi Classics etc. but quite a few K15s. Whilst researching them came across your website and the above message albeit from March 2014 in which mention is given to the Southampton Toy Exchange version of which I have in this collection. I am hoping to post a couple of pictures of this showing the label on the box, and others in the collection.

Hi Marcel,
great collection of busses you have, it would be very nice to see this as a lineup.
I have another question, is the "Berlin" Bus a Lesney product?
I've just begun to collect busses.

Ups, sorry Marcel, I didn't see the any photos in this thread. Now I reopened this and
I can see the complete lineup. May be an error with my explorer or an error by myself.
But my question again: Does the Berlin Bus have a Lesney base or a Macao base?
I've seen some Berlin Busses on eBay and I would buy one, if it had a Lesney base.
