Thats looks very nice. Shame someone stuck labels over it. Does the trunk have raised edge detail Dan?

I might be wrong but they look like water decals, in which case they might come off.

yeah its minty except for the labels..i kinda like it when a i get a model with labels and decals on it...but in this case i wish they werent there...from experience...i know not to remove them as it might damage the paint

Nice Dan! It's definitely a conversation piece. I've removed labels before with heat and some come away ok and some can leave a patch of discolouration underneath or a even a darker area where the paint has been shielded from the light and the environment, so I understand your reluctance :)

yeah i rather have a minty looking model with labels than a minty looking model with label removed and marks or missing paint or a different color from the car fading over the years...besides its not like its going into a museum...its just in my collection...which im ok with

i think of the saying...condition only matter of you have one...the first one i had was a swapped base...which i bought knowing it was swapped...then i found this one and was happy to get it!

An added bonus with my recent Cortina 'G' box find, was the very dark blue model to the left: -

A much deeper shade than my previous 'dark blue' model which has now been relegated into second place. There isn't a comparative blue model in my collection, although the darker blue 64 MG 1100 probably comes closest.
