The Tekno DODGEs came in three sizes.
Image
The middle size was done by Tekno and Vilmer both - who copied who? No one knows. They are identical except for the name on the baseplate AND ONE EXTRA BRACE ON THE CHASSIS that Tekno added. The photo shows -

Tekno Vilmer Tekno Vilmer Tekno.

Notice the two on the right are different sizes. Tekno made the smallest of the small.

I have many Vilmer trucks but only a few Tekno - I have no photos to share at present but will try to post some soon - most shown appear to be the Dodge trucks - Vilmer also did a Bedford Military truck

Only the medium Dodge was in common between Tekno and Vilmer. They also both did the Volvo Titan lorry, but the castings were completely different. May be time for a Vilmer thread?

Can I just warn anyone about Googling Vilmer Toys and Models. Please be very careful how you type it or phrase it, because you may see images displayed on your screen, not suitable for Children.

Hi Karl,
Thanks so much for posting these, I know very little about Tekno, and it gives me ideas of what to aim for, if you've got more I'd love to see them.

Hi all,
My very good friend Ragnar in Sweden has come up trumps again....
Image
I've wanted this Fire Engine since I was a kid in the early 70's, check the lovely tinplate opening panels on the Ford bin lorry too..
Image
I love the wheels on these too, a proper Ford V8 logo cast in....
