Download and run the free version of Ad-Aware from Lavasoft. It will ferret out all kinds of spyware, adware and malware on your computer that regular anti-virus programs ignore. You may be 'encouraged' to upgrade to a paid version but ignore all that - the free one is good enough for most people.
