That's not the TWA label I was thinking of Nick. I thought you were talking about the "TWA World Airlines" Label seen on the #65.

The 747 went into service in 1970 as the biggest airliner in the world so it certainly was an event to promote for the launch customers who used them on transatlantic routes - a very plausible rare but genuine issue!

Martin,
If it makes you better quicker, I'm all for it. However, possibly due to the fact I have never had any interaction with these busses, I do not collect them beyond the scope that they are Matchbox models so, it would not be where you would find me lurking.

This is the right ½ of my easy pack away desk top bus garage with Lego house based upon my 1974-82 layout without the painted grassed baseboard.Dinky + Corgi buses painted by myself combined with a mixture of childhood favourite Matchbox + Corgi 3 inch models - 20 double deckers with a shoebox building to the left but not photographed last time I had this lot set out!

Just when you thought there where no bus collectors three come along at once!!!!(SORRY)..I'm all for a bus forum..I have been known to have had quite a few pass through my hands over the year especialy when I was a train guy.....I am hunting one down at the mo.A Single decker Daimler 1950s to paint up as a Salford Corporation No 4 that used to pass my house when I was a kid....Happy days on Sunday when the No 6 Normaly Eccles to Radcliffe terminated right outside my house in Prestwich and I used to brew up for the crews in there billy cans.....
