Looking at how Garry's name is displayed in the header of his posts (i.e. no hyperlink), plus the fact that the PM conversation i had with him about the non-arrival of the open-toe 7c now shows me to have been corresponding with"anonymous", it looks as though he has resigned his Forum membership.

Guess that tells us what Gary really is.

Almost nobody here has bought got any models from Harvey, daft prices on all except this 23c after glazing drilled out !!!
I know you are the most unlucky seller this forum has encountered,a few members have tried to acquire cars from you but in cases they have been paid for but never been delivered.

Unlucky...how about a "Fraud" thought I was buying a No.22C I sent the money via paypal and weeks went by and nothing then no reply to emails finally I had to open a case through paypal just to get my money back...So explain that one "mrmoko"

I did see a couple of new names lately, so things will heal as they get used to our odd ramblings and thought patterns. Some of our regulars like Naji and Mick from Australia had already been missing before the Forum change, and others such as Christine, Moko Mia, and Peter had been chased away quite some time ago. It is a bit lonely right now, but we will 'Get On' as we can. We have made some very nice 'discoveries' on the New Forum, and we will continue to do so this year I am sure......... I thought Moko Mia's problems were all in the past and he had become more "mainstream."

I am here and am happy to contribute to both RW and SF forums.

I also have precious little time with a young family to set up photos and write posts. Oftentimes, when I do so, it feels few people who are willing to contribute are interested in my pictures or what I have to say.

So, I contribute less, and rarely make the effort to photograph models for discussion on this or any other forum. Get out the smallest violin by all means. But it seems I'm just too boring an old fart (before I'm anywhere near 50 years old) and that the models and or boxes or whatever in my collection are just not terribly exciting to members. So perhaps what I interests me about the hobby interests few others. So, here are some RW models I posted elsewhere on this forum recently. Not interesting.

Moko Mia did calm down a lot Joe, but unless he has changed his Forum I.D., does not Post here anymore. I enjoyed his Posts and missed a couple of nice rares he sold here. It is a slow month at work, so I find myself posting here more often with added non-working 'free-time'......
I had missed your post Taniwha with that seldom seen rare rear bumper 46, and also the tough box 34B VW. Jason swapped for my last spare 46 with bumper. I then found another Mint one for Numi from a friend of mine selling his collection, but they seldom come out for sale. I see a lot of doorless 34Bs, and all the NMint versions sell without boxes. That indicates to me a total lack of box availability on the 34B. We have lots of Fine BPW examples here in America, but I have heard that the knobby tread is far more common in England and on the continent. I can't tell which tread yours is, so maybe without details no one else chose to comment on that model. They both make nice displays, but pay attention to that daughter and use our site for your 'sanity time' LOL. They are only young once, so enjoy your children by sacrificing your collecting a bit. My 3 boys are still home, but have no interest in Toys. 'Girls' get all their attention and are their 'Toys'. I am very jealous, but my wife always keeps us very warm in the Cave.......... kwakers

This and all other toy forums seem to be getting much quieter as more and more people find that their posts reach a much wider audience if they focus on the right Facebook groups.The other advantages are that one control panel covers all groups of all sorts making it possible with a glance to see which groups have new posts to view or reply to & that there are many knowledgable continental europeans there who havent discovered stand alone forums like this!
Primary focus here is minor production variations which has less appeal to increasing proportions of diecast collectors who increasingly are multibrand rather than just Lesney collectors..........
