Hi George,
Do you know what codes they were, I have not found codes 1,2 and 3 yet.

I understand from various comments that Mr. Moko has an unfortunate reputation when it comes to transactions with other collectors. I would therefore like to state the following:
Although both Mr. Moko and I have been patient, the open toe 7c is still in postal limbo, having neither arrived in North Wales, nor been returned to Garry in Australia. When it became clear there might be an issue, Garry, without prompting, suggested a full refund which, once I accepted his offer (having held off in the hope that the parcel might yet arrive), he paid immediately.
The way we have left things is that the deal still stands. If the model is eventually delivered to me, I will pay Garry, and if the model is returned to him, he will have another go at sending it to me (hopefully with tracking!).
I therefore have no issues with how Garry has conducted himself in this matter.

Update: it is now over three months since I bought this model. It has not arrived with me in North Wales, and I have not received an e-mail from Garry saying that it has been returned to him.

Consider yourself very lucky to have received a refund. There are others (myself included) who are out a fair bit from dealing with this person. A crook in collectors clothing for sure.

I believe my open-toe 7c has turned up - on Ebay as a BiN! I may be wrong, but this one is also in Australia and is being sold by someone called Joanne - mine was supposed to be coming from Austrialia and the PayPal payment went to, and was returned by, someone called Jo-Anne Fielding (joes69@live.com.au).
Coincidence? I don't think so!

@Idris,Thats definitely the Open-Toe Ford D-Series that was destined to your door.
Perhaps the always-blamed Aussie postman felt sorry and hesitated about stealing it and then returned it to sender....in person that is. ;)
Really sad!!

Very sad carry on, I had dealings with Gary in the past and never had a problem. Not sure what has happened but its not a good way to carry on. J

I had an explicit agreement with Garry that, if it were to be returned to him, he would still sell it to me for the agreed price, just as, in the event of it one day materialising on my doorstep, I would pay him back the refund.
For what it’s worth (which is probably nothing if past experience is anything to go by), I have already reported the item to Ebay as being sold without the owner’s permission (seeing as I received an undertaking from Garry that it would be sold to me). If anyone else on this Forum would care to do likewise.....

That is just one of the accounts Gary had used in his older Lesney and display listings years ago, no question in my mind.
The open toe variation is uncommon, but at that price I think he will live with it for a long while. It only has that very early arm on it, but that was carried on for quite some time before being changed. I would not hesitate to contact Gary today and congratulate him (from all of we Forum members Please) on him being able to get your model back from the Post Office Idris!! I think a public display of any problems is always the best bet towards resolution, so this is a Great start. I liked Gary, but Trust amongst Forum members over anything monetary is most important. If Gary was up front and honest about a change of heart on selling the model, it would have been tough, but honesty in any deal is much better for all concerned. If Gary has hurt any one of us in the past as he has Chris and in this case as well with pure dishonesty, we are all a bit damaged by his foul actions.
With the combined efforts of we Forum members, another open toe will be found for you Idris. In the meantime, I think Gary should receive no comfort while Selling your model publicly. Please let us know what we can do to help you out, and also Gary should be made aware that the Refuse Truck has now become the subject of a fresh Post on our Forum. I see your new Post on contacting E Bay on your behalf, Please let us know who, where, and how we may contact that huge organization on your behalf.
