My latest lot of stuff on ebay.
I have decided to punt the rare ones on ebay and because of the bidding problem on the VBD site I will sell all the rest as set price 'buy it nows'.

Hi Jazz.
I got several emails from people that had their bids refused because there was no time left despite the auctions still being live and time still showing on the countdown.

Oh Nick..I am sure thats why I got my nice Scammell so cheap...It arrived today by the way and I am made up.Eyeliner, rouge, lippy the whole sherbang.....But I digress....Do whatever it takes with the auction its your baby and I dont see why anyone should miss out because of an obvious fault in the software.......If its only buy it nows what about unsold items? Will we have to pay again to keep listing because my items can sometimes take months to sell and with an auction if you gamble at say 1p starts a lot of your sales go for 1p but if you have relisted 5 or 6 times it can be a real loss maker. :D

Hi Ian.
It does not look as if we will be able to use it as an auction site any more, The software came from bulgaria (although payment went to an address just a few streets away)
I think the easiest way around the problem is to have say a £5 fee to join as a seller and that entitles you to unlimited sales, The £5 fee is to keep the chinese handbag sellers away, At the moment I'm refusing between 100 and 150 applications a day from chinese and russian spammers trying to join this forum.

I am getting my own back though, I wait until I have 1000 or so spammers waiting for confirmation that their account is open then I email all of them sending a reminder that their account is opened, Then I send another one and repeat 50 or so times, then I delete all of the accounts.
Deleting 50 emails may be a pain in the arse for some of them, but the ones that send multiple applications must have thousands of emails to sort through.

Nick, if anything, I can help you out with setting up the Auctions module. I did Mick's MOYBOYZ Auctions and he doesn't seem to have any problems with it currently.

Hi Ghostie.
It is not actually closed as such, I intend to sell all of my common models on there as 'buy it now' set price sales but my selling my rarities on ebay is keeping me busy at the moment. others are welcome to use it.
