Re: clacton explosion
Nine people are in hospital, two with serious burns, after a gas blast destroyed two houses in Cloes Lane, Clacton, today.

Hi Reg & Dan.
Cloes lane is barely half a mile from where I live, It looks like it was probably a gas leak, Me and my family are all fine,
cheers guys.

Good to hear your ok Nick.
Hopefully those involved in the explosion survive.
It brings back memories of 1973-74 and me and my brother were playing in the back garden when there was this almighty bang. Turned out to be a house just around the corner from my Mum and Dads old house had blown up due to a gas explosion. There was no one in the house thankfully but i recall just how violent the explosion was, so my thoughts are definately on those involved in the Clacton incident.
