Sometimes you just have to roll the dice. And I second Joe: the Hillman looks great!

Bought 7 models this year these 3 have been on my list for a long time.

16c a Code 4 open steps on the Left, closed steps on the Right.
30a Superfast first issue transitional.
27a Superfast the middle model with High Aches and Thin wheels.

The three wheel and arch variations.

Fun to see than Glenn/DrJeep has uncovered a new example of the 2a dumper with green painted small wheels and unpainted large wheels. So yes, Martin's Maxim in enacted and, just like that, a variation is born.
Additions to my regular wheel collection this year have been almost non-existent. Just one of my additions is significant. With a timely heads up from a friend I was able to snag a 4a Massey Harris tractor with yellow wheel trim paint on US ebay. Clearly my Very Best of 2020!

The paint on the rear hubs of Greg's 4a looks more like the detail on a Dinky tractor with the paint pushed to the extreme edges of the hub (rather than mimicking the usual gold application).

Thank you very much to everyone who contributed to this thread. The items shown are truly mouthwatering and (unlike those on display in more ephemeral fora) I have no doubt that everything which has been shared is the genuine article.
It is interesting to note that many have been found 'in the wild' rather than coming from dispersal sales, indicating that the there are plenty of gems waiting to be found.
Good hunting in 2021!
