Hello all...
I don’t even know how to ask this but does a ‘factory error’ really make something worth that much more??
I have a Corgi Rockets Aston Martin DBS (a recent eBay purchase) and one of the rear wheels is on the wrong way, it’s inside-out!
Being a Corgi Rockets toy I don’t know if I can say it’s an error with the Aston or the chassis though of course!!
I feel I’m rambling now but I do wonder if things like this really do make a toy worth more than it’s properly manufactured counterparts?!

Hi Grifterkid,
I do not think it makes it worth more, just a nice oddity for a collector to have. I like matchbox errors but I will not normally pay over the odds for one.

Errors can be interesting, but not something I go out of my way to collect. Like Jason, I wouldn't put a premium on them. Some can be easily faked; therefore, the model will have to be subject to scrutiny or remain in factory packaging to be sure it's genuine.
