Dinky Big Cat XJ12C

Posted this in the Dinky section, but no replies.
I brought a Big Cat Jaguar on eBay for £30 in a code 3 box.
After looking and reading a 100 odd page thread on another forum, about ‘Steeds Jaguar clones’
I realised mine was a bit different to the usual big cats.
It has a metal base, a 7 stamped in the glass, a Q stamped in the interior and 4 spoke wheels?

Not sure why someone would go to the trouble of modifying it, then selling it for less than a regular big cat!

Has anyone any thoughts?
