I think you've been buying from Messrs French and Son in the UK. They live near a well known auction house and before Lockdown would attend the auctions in person, pay for their wins and have them photographed and listed on eBay that evening. It explains why most of the photos in their listings are taken under flashlight and are often of not very good standard.
Not the cheapest to buy from as they put everything at a high price then gradually bring it down to what I call sensible!

Hi Peter,
I am sure that over the years I bought models from the seller you mentioned. Many of the models in the ATM series were bought from UK based sellers, Europe, Australia and N.America.
The standard issues I procured directly through MICA. Some I purchased from Toy shows. Sadly, did not keep track from where or how much the final price was.
I remember also buying from a certain auction house based in the UK but I do not bid there anymore because of the many other fees added to the final price.
Accumulating a sizable collection with many variations takes years unless of course you buy someone's else collection outright.
