Gavin, you can post your rare boxes here if you want or any model that you consider to be of 'Holy Grail' status.

This lot came up on an auction site in Sweden a few weeks ago. The Vauxhall wasn't mentioned att all, but there was a few pics of the bus and the Coca-Cola lorry. They obviously didn't know what they had. A friend of mine, living in the same city, went in and had a look, and it was a no-dashboard car. The real thing, maybe not in mint, but in decent condition. However, before the auction had ended, the word was out and they suddenly posted a lot of pictures on it.
So if course I didn't get it! I came in second. When I started saying to my wife, that maybe we could do the roof next year, and I got that look, I decided to step down. I think it ended at about 850 pounds.
BUT - the thing is: They are still out there somewhere (at least in Sweden), and next time it might happen in my little town, which has an auction firm without an internet connection. Then I´ll be there!

1952 mark one Dinky Foden - single year production. I never thought I would own whatever condition. Holy grail acquisition! Superglue is your friend on that errant chain post.

More shots on my dinky thread when it arrives.
