Messing around with the Model T

Post by Tinman »

This one by Matchbox International found it's way into my project box. I got rid of the red, the blue, the mustard yellow color and the ugly all plastic black wheels. I found some nice diecast spoke wheels and converted the model to accept them. Colors are Gold body with Emerald green. I'm going to put my personal contact info (and slogan) on the model and gift it to the next collector who sends me a beater regular wheel to restore. Since it's not appropriate to post that info on the WWW you will just have to imagine a snazzy slogan on the sides and my contact info on the roof. Regardless, I think it's looks much better without the not so pretty multiple colors and the ugly plastic wheels.

Nice transformation! Your new wheels suit it very well.
