Opinion needed UPDATE: Color Trial

Post by Tinman »

I'm considering making this Hot Wheels Unimog into one of my ESSO Exploration Unimogs using regular wheel hubs and tires. What do you guys think? Be honest and give me an opinion. The silver metal base will be black, the light tan plastic section between the body and base will be red and the cab and bed white with ESSO on the doors and EXPLORATION on the bed sides.

I think it's a good idea, will you be adding a load or a canopy?

I stole the canopy for a MB model. So I would be doing a load in the bed ... after I fix the holes where the canopy would secure to the bed lol.

Well, that's probably all the comments that will come in.

I will go with the customizing of the Hotwheel model. This will be a first for me as I venture into the "Dark Side" of the force.

Color trial. HW molded the bed very crudely. Yep, I guess that's the best HW can do a brand spankin' new window insert
