Base colour help MB9 Ford Escort

Just wondered if someone could help with these base colours, looking at Charcoal and Blue grey bases.
My thoughts-picture 1 charcoal with black- picture 2 blue grey with black.

Hi Jason,

I have what I consider the blue grey base on the Ford Escort but it is not listed by Mack or Christian as it is the metallic green with seagull logo.
This number 9 Ford Escort model has a long variation list so I limited my hunt to main body colours, base colours and interior colours.

In the attached photo I have shown blue grey left, charcoal middle and black on right.

It is not the easiest of colours to pick but by flipping, splicing and combining the two bases on the green and blue the difference is seen in the second photo.

A keen eye will show you the rivet operator was only pressing two out three base rivets for her shift that day to meet targets on the middle model left rear.

Thanks Bert thats great, I was asking as the model in the bubble pack has red interior with a blue grey base which is unlisted as well.

There must be so many variations to collect of this model, I do not go out of my way to collect them but in job lots I tend to keep the better ones for reference really.
