I notice that Hardy's one does not have the upper deck rear support bars fitted - broken off or on purpose as there doesn't seem to be a gap at the rivet although hard to see.

Given the bend in the lower deck and the kink in the loading ramp, I would think that they've been damaged in rough play and then removed, probably by Dad, in order to keep the toy safe.

I think the ramp without the strengthening ribs is fairly common on the early orange trailer, and my M8 is also without the brace at the bottom of the ramp. But all those other variations are really fascinating.
