Introduction to Beginners' Corner
Re: Introduction to Beginners' Corner
I think it's the tractor unit from the accessory pack car transporter ingeniously adapted into a cement mixer. It's not rare, but it is quite interesting! Picture attached for those who haven't followed the link.

Thank you very much for the information!
Re: Introduction to Beginners' Corner
hello everyone my name is Simone, I'm new to this forum. I am writing to you from Italy, in Veneto precisely from Treviso. I wanted to congratulate you on the passion you put into this matchbox world and have been collecting regular wheels for a couple of years. I need someone who knows more about me than one of my models that I kept in the scrap box until a few weeks ago and that I had never given importance but a doubt arose.

Welcome to the 'world of Matchbox Experts' Simone...
Would you like to tell us what model you want more information about and try and post a picture of it to us.

If it's easier for you, please feel free to post in Italian with a Google Translate version in English. (however, I must compliment you on your your English, which is extremely good.)

Re: Introduction to Beginners' Corner
I am puzzled about the coloring of the wheels. I have all with black wheels but I don't understand if they have become discolored and have turned gray. I read that it is difficult to find this model with gray wheels and I was intrigued, also because I had kept it in the scrap box for a long time
Re: Introduction to Beginners' Corner
Welcome! From your excellent pictures, I think these are normal black wheels that have suffered from environmental exposure. From the rust on the axles it looks like they've been damp. Sorry - nothing exciting! But please do show us more of your collection.
Re: Introduction to Beginners' Corner
I would suggest taking a sharp modelling knife, and make a scratch on the inner face of one of the wheels. (I think Glenn's right, and the scratch will reveal jet black plastic.)
