Steve Flowers Model Supplies.

Post by kevspeed »

Hi all, just a quick post to say that ive just received my parts from Steve Flowers, that i ordered at the end of March. Obviously due to this virus malarkey things have been put on hold, but it looks like existing orders are being fulfilled. Im not sure if new orders are being taken, but if you were waiting for parts, then they could very well be on their way. 8-) 8-) 8-)

I ordered some parts two weeks ago and they came yesterday.I asked the girl who may be Steves daughter when I phoned in my order why they where taking so long very nicely of cource.I even offered to come down to Leicester and be her packer but she just laughed I always get the same girl so presume she was on her own. .I thanked her and wished her well..Great stuff again from Model Supplies...When I thought about it considering all the Ebay stuff and dealing with grumpy old restoreres you have to say they are doing a great job.Every one I know around the world uses them. In case you where wondering...Spot on bumpers,Dinky windows+Dinky /Chad valley tyres, Plus large Moko tracks and quite cheap postage considering....Cant praise them enough....I wonder if Steve reads these forums?..

Rushing over to put in an order, I'm running out of so many things!
It might be time to start my "Bucket List."

I have received quite a big order in the middle of the zombie apocalypse with no undue delay.
I'm about ready to place my next one soon.

Just when I wanted to place my new order, Leicester went into a second localised lockdown, which of course affects Steve's business.
They are currently not accepting any orders.

This time I need mainly Corgi stuff and Oddments.
It's a hobby, the models are over 50 years old, so I think a few weeks won't matter.

Thanks for your offer. I already ordered Corgi tyres off eBay.
Not exactly sure, since the models haven't arrived yet, but I will need in the neighbourhood of eight '59 Impala window units,
at least 3 Taxi signs and transfer sheets, although I might use the ones for the Dinky Plymouth, because a whiff of code 3 is always good.
