Type "F" Boxes.

The top Five boxes are listed in Stannards as the 5 variations of the "F" boxes.

But the bottom two are not listed by Stannard, so we now have 7 variations

of the faces.

Having looked at your F box variations i was not aware of the 66 Greyhound box with Superfast on it,
I do not collected Reg. Wheels only Superfast and having looked at my early Superfast box's have
noticed that i have a No 50 Kennel Truck with Superfast but a Reg. wheel image is this possibly
another variation ?

I long ago gave up attempting to use the Stannard as a box guide as it was never his main focus and has to many omissions. Pats Box Page should be everyone's go to source for cataloging their boxes.

Hello Tinman I know but a lot of things came to light after the book was printed, when the reprint was done in the USA

I thought then that all the new variations would be in it, but alas it was just a reprint of the original a soft cover at that.

I think you are far from alone in those thoughts about the reprint. At least it gave many people an opportunity to buy a guide at a reasonable price. At that time, second hand guides were selling for as much a $600.00 USD at auctions.The idea of printing updated pages to add to loose leaf catalogs was a great idea in the early '80's. Since that time, anyone with a computer and access to a printer can print their own pages and add them.  Today's younger collectors shun most things printed in favor of digital formats like Nick's Guide. Hence the reason the reprint guide sales have dropped to point of double digits per year. What Millennials probably consider something to be "mint & boxed:"  An unopened package delivered overnight from Amazon (or some similar online shopping service).
