Bye Bye Stirling.
Re: Bye Bye Stirling.
On Friday I was going through some stuff, as there is not much else to do at this time, and came across an Aurora Model Motoring Racing Sets catalog from 1964 with Stirling Moss on the cover. Searching on the web it appears he was featured on quite a few Aurora catalogs and racing sets. The one I have appears to be for dealers maybe? Some of the sets were pretty pricey and list for $39.95 back in 1964. Interesting that I had never heard of him before and now twice in the last 3 days. I will try to scan it and show it here. What free picture hosting service is everyone using now that photobucket charges? Stay safe y'all

Click on my picture of Stirling and it will take you to 'postimage' then click on the third field down marked Choose images and it will open up a folde on your computer. If it is not the right folder just navigate to where you have your Aurora Stirling pictures stored.

Of course I had one of those Sterling Moss racing sets back in the day. His legend will live on.
It might be time to start my "Bucket List."

I think I got it now. Thanks. The scans were done at 600 DPI so they should be decent enough to print.
