The main difference between 9a and 9b is the addition of a front bumber, but there are a few different casting as shown in the following pictures.

Thanks for the pictures George, especially the Boat deck colors from blue to green. Your pictures at Nick's site have made this Boat one of my favorite Lesneys.
I hope everyone notices Dan's (Brad Pittiful's) green deck Boat also, with it's nice TAN interior floor set off nicely by it's very white hull. You may want to take a better picture of that one alone from the top Dan for Nick's variation site. No one else seems to have ever shown one of these to our Forum members that I ever recall. I had mentioned having both this factory Tan colored, and also several Cream floored variations in some of these Boats right out of the factory. I have found only one with that Tan (Or light brown to some) floor for our collection. The cream floored Boats are much easier to find, but be careful to watch out for fading of hull and floor together. Nice find on your Tan floor green deck Boat Dan, it's a beauty and quite rare! kwakers

hi Dick

thanks for the info on the boat deck...i didnt know about the tan color..i thought it was just a darkening over time of a white deck...i took a few more pics...i hope they are ok...and nick can use them at his discretion...if other angles are needed just let me know and ill try to take them...as you can see some fishing trip they lost the starboard seat...prolly from a marlin that kept fighting even after they hauled him in the boat

Well done Dan, never seen a Tan boat interior before, that's one worth looking out for at future toy fairs.
