Hi Nick,
I'm a great fan of your website, especially 1-75 "the superfasts are coming"! Everytime I take a look at those information, I will learn more and more
about this fascinating hobby. Thank you and your friends for doing this for us!
But I have one question: why haven't you added #59B Mercury to the list like #55B. Isn't it also a direct descendant from #55A as #55B from #73A?
Or would it be beyond the scope as there are sooooo many variations on this casting?
regards Peter

Re: 59 Mercury Fire Chief
Good news, thank you. I just thought, that only models including F/G type boxes and their derivatives will be listed, but in this case......SMS88 wrote:It is coming sometime in 2014 - the H and I box models will be done next,1st up is the #32 Bora, text written last week and now Nick is digging up photos and making the variation table

Hi Peter.
I want to eventually have all of the British made Matchbox toys included but at the moment I am very busy but I hope to make a start soon.
Mick (sms88) is writing the text and sorting out the variations, I just have to set out the page and put it online but it still needs a whole day at least to do each page.

Hello Nick 'n' Mick,
I didn't know, that you want to expand the list to all numbers - now you made me curious about it and I cannot await it!!!
BUT of course I really appreciate your work so far and you all have my honest respect for making such a whopper
Thank you, Peter

Re: 59 Mercury Fire Chief
Mine got the base like the one in the front. What could be the reason for this reinforcement as otherwise the same plate?
Do you know it?
