Looks like the Chinese might be putting profits before people (here), and America too (here).

Now that I'm home a bit more, I've been taking the dog for walk. (It's very tiring - I'm wondering if I'm doing it properly! :D )

why doesnt this surprise me

here is a little info about my company...we are a company that deals with credit...and deemed vital to be opened...my job cannot be done at home...i am required to be there...the hq is in chicago...i am in the burbs of philadelphia

two weeks ago now 3 on monday out of the 300 people that worked in my building are working from home...that left 2 departments of about 70 people...starting monday the other department is set up to work from home...so now about 30 people will be left in the building

i work 11:30 am to 8pm normally...but i can go in now at 9:30am till 6pm (its temporary)...what is funny...after about 5 the building is pretty much the two departments that i mentioned...its an empty place after 5 but these last couple weeks all day has felt like its after 5...weird
Please use a web hosting site (like photobucket) to store pictures so you can post them here, using attachments makes it hard to view the pictures when you have to scroll to see them. Seeing comparisons of models is hard to see with attachments too.

I expect we'll soon have rules limiting the duration of our single piece of outdoor exercise, so this weekend I've been out very early with our dog for an 11 km walk, and then the rest of the family gives her a 6 km walk late in the afternoon. She's never been so tired! I gather that in France and Italy walking the dog is one of the few excuses for being outdoors, so dogs are completely exhausted from constant exercise as they're passed from neighbour to neighbour.

Can dogs carry/transmit the virus? On their leads for example. If so is every one that's handling the lead sanitising it and themselves?

You should be wearing gloves anyway for dog walking sessions.

That is exactly what we do when we walk the 2 dogs we have once a day. We also wear scarfs and hats and when we enter the house we leave all of the outdoor clothing in the porch and then take a shower, better safe than sorry.
