I hope everyone stays fit and well over this difficult time. As a front line worker in ITU my work has increased dramatically and I’m hoping I stay well over this period. :D
Kindest Regards

The latest scientific opinion is that the virus remains active on soft surfaces for about 24 h, and on hard surfaces (under ideal conditions) for 72 h. I therefore suggest that Members consider quarantining on arrival any parcels received from high-risk areas for three days. (I've got a parcel coming in from France. When it arrives, it will go straight into a bin bag and be left there until I consider it safe (even though I'm dying to inspect the contents).

I know there won't be any toy fairs for a while, but just think how many people turn over every Faun crane or Lamborghini Miura ... When things are back to normal I'll probably stick to Benbros - no-one looks at them!

Do share the contents of the French parcel, Hugh - we all need distraction from the daily worry of Covid-19.

I recently received a couple of packages from China. They were immediately sprayed with disinfectant.

Taking into account the amount of time a packet requires from France or China, you’re more likely to get infected from the corn flakes packet at Tesco’s.

No. That's not correct (but only because they've sold out! :D )

We don't have Tesco in the States (that I'm aware of). I can, however, see getting an infection from the corn flakes at Save-A-Lot.
