Advice on whether any products I have are worth selling?

Post by helen051133 »

Hello

My late partner had a small collection of cars and I would like to know if any of them are worth selling individually or if they are only worth selling collectively or not worth doing anything with!

Thanks, Helen

I would say they are worth selling. Were I to sell them in lots, I would sell the Lledo in one lot and the Models of Yesteryear in another. How much you'll realize from the sale is not something I'd speculate on, as neither Lledo or newer Yesteryears are areas in which I'm expert. They will probably an easier sell if you're in the UK.

The pictures are far too big for comfortable viewing, but from what I see I agree with Dan. Job lots by maker would be the way to go. Sadly, not a lot of value there.

The best model there regards a retail value is the Onyx Jaguar in the first picture as these can go for £20 each. The Lledos and Matchbox will not bring you much sold as singles so do them as a Lledo job lot and a Models of Yesteryear job lot.

Thank you, appreciate the advice. Do you think Ebay the best way to try and sell?

I would have thought that Ebay is the way to go, especially with so many people working from home at the moment.
Make sure that the listing ends during the evening on either Saturday or Sunday for the best price.
Good luck!
