Re: Hunting for Ghosty..
Hello Jason,
Thank's for that, it is hard at times when you get stuck in your hobby, to realise that others around you are less fortunate than yourself, especially in their health
and while my family knew something like this was going to happen, it is still a shock when that message or phone call actually happens.
He is comfortable at the moment and making steady progress in trying to walk again, but some days he can't even get out of a chair, all caused by the lack of medication for his Parkinson's due to a mix-up in a supply of some new tablets!
I am not sure when I will be back on the toy fair circuit again, but I look forward to meeting you again, maybe for a longer chat this time.
Thank's again Jason, take care,
Kevin.

Thank you Ewan, you are very kind.
I told my Dad there are forum members thinking of him, so you have now been added to the list, cheers.
Later this year I am planning to visit "Motorman" in Glasgow for Scotrail toy fair, maybe we can meet up there.
Look after yourself Ewan, see you soon.
Kevin.

Nice to hear from you Ghosty, you've been missed and please pass on my best wishes to your Dad. I've been through a similar experience some years ago and the worry, travelling and the wrench from your normal routine can take its toll so look after yourself too and keep your chin up.

Glad to hear from you Kevin. I hope your Dad regains his strength soon.
I am also looking forward to you venturing over the border for the Scotmodel show in Nov, Maybe Ewan could join up with us if he can allow himself away from his wee Island for a few hours. On saying that i think he is further away from Falkirk than you are Kevin!!

Re: Hunting for Ghosty..
Thank you John and Alex.
There was a period when my Father was talking to me on the phone and I just could not make head nor tail of what he was saying, this was Christmas Eve and he was calling me from his bed in Hospital, being admitted several hours earlier, he was in another world, that's when I decided I needed to go to the Hospital later that evening and see what was going on.
All due respect to my Father, but this is the longest he has kept me away from my model collection, I am sure he did not do it on purpose! come on Dad, get well soon.
I am visiting him on Wednesday the 22nd and again on Friday the 24th, so will give him your regards.
Thank's again for your support, see you soon,
Kevin.
