Just Waiting for Delivery.
Re: Just Waiting for Delivery.
Looks like it's worn but intact, including the tow hook (who the heck pulls a trailer with a Rolls-Royce?). Doesn't appear as if it's a spectacularly rare variation...but if you were the sole bidder, seems you did pretty well.

Yes Kurt it is indeed the 'Long Seat' version.MatchboxFreak wrote:Is this an elusive ‘long seat’ Rolls Royce?
It does not matter what condition (within reason!) these can be found in I will buy them. I think this is my fourth example so far and can not wait for it to be delivered so I can scrutinize it and find where it sits in the overall 'Time-Line'.
Somebody on this forum has a stunning as new mint condition example. As soon as I find out who it is, I will ask Him or Her to repost some pictures of it for the benefit of our newer members.
Hi 'J'. If you mean the blue model overall and not just the 'Long Seat' version (sort of answered above!), I can not remember. In a picture I posted some time ago there are 39 examples pictured together with perhaps no more than 12 duplicates as some were still wrapped in packaging.nearlymint wrote:Very nice and rare version Ghosty, how many do you have now?

Re: Just Waiting for Delivery.
The #69 has arrived at Ghost Towers and shes not at all bad. Some playware but still presentable especially because of the secret she hides inside!
From the outside it is next to impossible to tell what seat moulding this model has unless in ebay picture you can see inside the rear arch but even in my pictures above it still does not give much away.
But turn the model over and all is revealed inside the rear arch.
Sometimes one of the ebay pictures does show the boot open and if your lucky, the model is at the right angle to also reveal the detail that tells you the seat moulding is of the 'Long' design as you look into the hinge arm opening.
The search goes on for even more examples!

Hi Ghosty
Is the colour a little darker, does not look bad at all.

Re: Just Waiting for Delivery.
It looks pretty dang good. Now I'll probably find myself looking over every 69C I spot in a mixed lot (as I already do with 30Cs, looking for one without the rear brace...and I've still yet to spot one)!
